Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett's Gorillaz have announced that they've teamed up with Converse to design a line of four new Chuck Taylor All Stars designs.
The shoes are set to be on sale come February 2012, with Hewlett having full artistic control.
To celebrate, the new pairing will throw a 'Gorillaz Sound System' event at the 100 Club in London on 1 December, which will involve "a unique audio-visual experience, featuring music, live percussion and special projections".
Converse are also set to release another of their 'Three Artists, One Song' music offerings, this edition starring none other than Gorillaz.
It's unknown what other two acts will perform on the release but previous mash-ups have included Julian Casablancas/Santigold/N.E.R.D, Best Coast/Kid Cudi/Rostam from Vampire Weekend, and Matt & Kim/Andrew WK/Soulja Boy ).
