The Dark Knight Rises Goes Viral

We knew Warner Bros couldn't keep quiet for much longer, as the vital marketing campaign for The Dark Knight Rises gets underway, teasing a pair of "leaked" CIA documents on a certain Dr Leonid Pavel.

The first document shows a mug-shot of the character, played by Alon Abutbul, alongside a profile of nuclear physicist Pavel, which much of the information blacked out.

However, the second documents gives a bit more information about what's going on.

This particular document is a transcript of a conversation between a CIA official and a militia unit, concerning the granting of asylum for Pavel, who seems to fear for his life.

Is it Bane who's after him? Is it Batman? Hardly anything is known at this point, but we're sure more clues will spring up between now and next summer.

The Dark Knight Rises is released on July 20, 2012.
