No matter how careful musicians are today, and have been throughout history, one bad decision and the consequences can be devastating.

However big or small these decisions are, they can bring a career crashing down and ruin a reputation instantly. You can be at the top of your game, with fans showering you with gifts - and the next minute fans are pelting you with bottles of their bodily fluids.

We have compiled a top ten of the worst career disasters, from failed solo careers and shameless miming slip ups to simply not using or abusing brains. As a nation we love to see a star crash and burn, so take a look at our list of some of the worst career disasters...

Guns N' Roses: The band has, over the years, provided their fans with somewhat painful viewing. One of the band's most memorable blunders was their set at Leeds Festival in 2010. As per usual Axl Rose arrived considerably late, met by a chorus of boos from the crowd. At the end of the band's performance, he left the stage shouting to the crowd: 'Be safe, good night and fuck you'. Rock and roll or rock and rude?
