Coldplay have invested in a Devon-based electronics company who are sex toy inventors to help them interact with fans at their shows.
Entrepreneurs Clive Banks and Jason Regler approached the group after coming up with a flashing wristband that can be used for audience interaction at gigs.
Speaking about the project, frontman Chris Martin told XFM: There's a guy called Jason who likes Coldplay. He used to make mobile phone vibrating sex toys. Basically he's an inventor. I think he came to Glastonbury this summer and he had an idea while we were playing to make these glowband things.
The pair launched the product at Coldplay's gig in Madrid last week, which was watched online by 44 million people.
RB Concepts boss Clive told The Sun: "The next move would be to have the wristbands at sporting events and night time events.
"The big thing is audience participation, this means bands can relate more to the audience. We are looking towards using it at the Olympics.''
