We all knew it was coming with syncronicity being the name of the game, Adele's second album '21' has once again risen to the number one spot whilst she has received three nominations at this years BRIT awards.
The London songstress is up for the categories of Best British Female, Best British Single and Mastercard's revered Album Of The Year Award.
The singer has fallen slightly short of Tinie Tempah's record breaking four nominations in 2011, the awards are distinctly in her favour as she fights off Florence And The Machine, Jessie J, Kate Bush and Laura Marling in the female artists category.
In the album category Adele will lock horns with Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and PJ Harvey. For best British single the competition includes Olly Murs and Rizzle Kicks for 'Heart Skips A Beat', Pixie Lott 'All About Tonight' and The Wanted 'Glad You Came'.

The Arctic Monkeys, Chase & Status, Coldplay, Elbow and Kasabian are all up for Best British Group.
Ed Sheeran, James Blake, James Morrison, Noel Gallagher, and Professor Green are all up for Best British Male.
Anna Calvi, Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sandé, Jessie J and the The Vaccines are going for Best British Breakthough Act.
Fleet Foxes, Foo Fighters, Jay-Z/Kanye West, Lady Antebellum and Maroon 5 contend for Best International Act.
The Brit Awards 2012 will take place on the 21st of February with Blur picking up the outstanding contribution to music award.
