Elton John's Husband Attacks Madonna Over Facebook After Golden Globes Win

It seems Elton John and husband David Furnish don't take to well to being on the losing team.

Madonna beat Elton as she picked up the prize for 'Best Original Song' at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards last night (January 15).

Before the awards Elton John said during an interview that Madonna had 'no f**cing chance of wining' an award.

When the reporter asked if 'those were fighting words?' he replied: 'No, those are accurate words.'

According to The Mirror, Furnish after the awards wrote on Facebbok: “Madonna. Best song???? F**k off!!!

“Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in its narcissism.”


Madonna was nominated for the original song 'Masterpiece' in her directorial debut W.E.while Elton was nominated for Gnomeo & Juliet,

Ricky Gervais hosted his third Golden Globes, which was attended by the likes of Robert Downey Jr, Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt.
