Avril Lavigne Splits From Boyfriend Brody Jenner

Avril Lavigne has split from her boyfriend of nearly two years, it has been reported.

The singer has apparently called time on their relationship due to opposing views on marriage.

A source told Life & Style  magazine: They decided to end their relationship,' the insider said.

It wasn't working out and they wanted to go their separate ways.'

The pair started dating in 2009 shortly after her divorce from Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, whom she wed in July 2006

Last year the popstar was attacked by five people in a hotel bar.

The attack, which happened over the weekend, saw five people assault the singer after the Canadian was involved in an argument with a woman at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.
