Kylie Minogue was forced to call in police after being threatened by a "weirdo" stalker on Twitter.
The singer informed fans that she had contacted the police following harassment on the social network site.
Kylie told fans over Twitter: "I love 1,033,861 of you LOVERS, but 1 is not a lover, just a deluded weirdo making threats #andthatdoesnotmakeyouspecial So...police alerted."
Meanwhile, the singer made her live comeback during a live session at the famous Abbey Road studios in London at the end of last year.
Minogue, who is currently in the studio working on her new album, performed at the EMI music showcase.
Joined by a 22-piece orchestra, Minogue thanked staff at the studios before performing two tracks including 'All The Lovers'.
Other acts of the night included London rapper Professor Green who was joined by rising star Emeli Sande for his track 'Read All About It'.
Morning Parade, To Kill A King and American duo Chiddy Bang showcased tracks from their forthcoming albums, all set for release this year.
