Lady Gaga Revives Male Alter Ego Jo Calderone In You And I Fashion Film - Watch

Lady Gaga has released the latest of her “fashion films” that are soundtrack by her new single 'You And I' – you can watch the video below.

The video sees Gaga transform into her male alter ego Jo Calderone. The singer is seen puffing on a cigarette and stripping down to white underwear while swearing and groping himself.

The singer is believed to be poking fun at the media after rumours emerged during the early stages of her career that she was a man.

She said in a TV interview in 2010: I love the rumour that I have a penis. I'm fascinated by it,'

'In fact, it makes me love my fans even more that this rumour is in the world because 17,000 of them come to an arena every night and they don't care if I'm a man, a woman, a hermaphrodite, gay, straight, transgendered, or transsexual.

'They don't care. They are there for the music and the freedom.'
Each of the six films will show on one of Gaga's characters in the original 'You And I' video, which includes the mermaid and her male alter ego, Jo Calderone.

'You And I', taken from Lady Gaga's recent album 'Born This Way', which also includes tracks 'Edge of Glory' and 'Judas'.
