More about: Mumford & Sons
Mumford & Sons premiered material from their forthcoming second album at the Secret Policeman's Ball in New York last night (March 4).
The band were joined by the likes of Coldplay and Russell Brand at the Radio City Music Hall in NYC.
Mumford & Sons recently revealed that they are in the final stages of finishing off recording their second album.
The band are currently working on the follow-up to 2009's 'Sigh No More', due to be released later this year.
In an interview with MTV, band member Ben Lovett said: "We are in the final stages, we're not finished, we don't quite know the exact tracklisting. We have kind of road-tested some songs, and we have picked up some new songs and dropped some ones that people might have thought we were going to be putting on the record.''
The last Secret Policeman's Ball was held in London, in 2008. The charity gala began in 1976, and has since been hosted by acts such as Bono, Sting and Eric Clapton, raising funds for Amnesty International.
