Coldplay take back 'Mylo Xyloto' regret

Despite recently stating that Coldplay regretted the name of their current album, Chris Martin claims the comment on US TV was just a joke.

Martin told US audiences while on Good Morning America that they only opted for 'Mylo Xyloto' because the name 'looked really good' but that fans were unable to pronounce it.

"It's just something that we thought looked really good but everywhere we go around the world people pronounce it in the most crazy ways. And we're beginning to regret it now,'' Martin said.

Today however, Martin told fans on Twitter: "No regrets at all about Mylo Xyloto as album title. We love it. Only regret attempting JOKE on early morning TV. CM."

Coldplay are understandably better known for their chart topping albums rather than their sense of humour.
