Lady Gaga can today claim herself the most popular person on the planet - as far as Twitter is concerned. The US pop star has become the first person on the planet to have 20 million followers on the social network.
Gaga reaches this monumental number ahead of other popular Twitter celebrities such as Justin Bieber and Katy Perry - who boast a paltry 18 and 15.7 million followers respectively.
An avid tweeter, Gaga has been a member of the site since 2008, using the platform to share pearls of wisdom about her music and fashion taste and to keep in contact with her 'monsters'.
Don't forget Gigwise is also on Twitter. Although we don't have as much to say about fashion as Lady Gaga...
