The Who's Roger Daltrey has predicted that Oasis will reform in the next four years.
The frontman said that despite their recent differences the pair will make up and come back as an even bigger and better band. The Gallagher brothers have been at war since their split in 2009, trading law suits and insults as they embarked on their respective solo(ish) careers.
Speaking to XFM, Daltrey said: "You know damn well that they'll be together – I predict within four years. And it will be magic. They'll be bigger than ever and they'll be drinking twice as much."
Last month, Liam Gallagher admitted that he would prefer to be in Oasis, despite the bad blood between him and brother Noel. His admission must have come as little comfort to his Beady Eye bandmates.
The singer, who formed his current band after the Manchester siblings parted ways, also admitted however, that the two were still not speaking.
"I've still got the right hump and now the gloves are off. We're still not talking.
If people think I'm going to be happy about the Oasis split, then they're wrong. Even though I love Beady Eye, I'd prefer to still be in Oasis, because that was my thing. Oasis was my life."
