Missing those Arctic Monkey lads? Fear not. They may be off across the US for the next couple of months but Alex Turner has revealed that they are planning to head back into the studio soon.
The frontman said he's eager to start work on the follow-up to 2010's 'Suck It And See' as soon as the band's US arena tour with the Black Keys is over.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, when asked if he writes whilst on the road, he replied: A bit. I don't try to write on the road. I might try to this time, just for a change. Usually, I get home and I realize it's bad, so I've not done it in the past."
He added: We've messed around in sound checks, but I'm not gonna meet a deadline, and it's not like I need to write, though I want a head start for the next time around.
Last week Arctic Monkeys unveiled their new track 'R U Mine'.
The track does not appear on the band's 2011 album 'Suck It And See' and will not be released as an official single.
