Noel Gallagher announces Record Store Day release

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will release, 'Songs From The Great White North',  an exclusive 12” vinyl for Record Store Day 2012.

Only 2000 copies of the 12”, pressed on opaque and heavyweight vinyl, will be available at shops participating in Record Store Day on the morning of April 21.

Noel says of Record Store Day: "Record shops are as important as the records themselves"

The vinyl will comprise the following four tracks:

1. The Good Rebel
2. Let The Lord Shine A Light On Me
1. I'd Pick You Every Time
2. Shoot A Hole Into The Sun

Meanwhile, Noel Gallagher has unveiled the first material from his forthcoming Amorphous Androgynous album.

The singer, who collaborated with the Amorphous Androgynous on the follow-up to his debut album Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds,  has posted the B-side 'Shoot A Hole Into The Sun' online.
