Robbie Williams reveals he is to become a father

Robbie Williams has revealed that he is to become a Father for the first time.

The former Take That star broke the news in a funny and emotional posting on his official website that confirmed that he and wife Ayda are expecting their first child. Robbie, ever the joker, appeared happier that he is in full working order than that he has a baby on the way, saying:

It seems that Robbie is going to be a busy man in 2012 with both a pregnant wife and a new solo album on the way after he signed a new record deal.

Today's news leaves only Jason Orange in Take That left to have children. It is believed he is single after splitting from comedy actress Catherine Tate earlier this year.
