Bill Ward removed from Black Sabbath Website

Bill Ward has been completely erased from Black Sabbath’s website.

Due to pulling out of the bands reunion shows, the website has temporarily removed Ward out of all official images, after the drummers request.

A spokeswoman for the band has said, "At the request of Bill Ward, through his attorney, so as to not give the public the wrong impression about his involvement in the current Black Sabbath lineup, we have temporarily removed Bill Ward's images from the main pages of the blacksabbath.com official website.”

"In accordance with Bill Ward's attorney's request, we are doing so for the duration of the forthcoming shows."

Black Sabbath have claimed they will be replacing the drummer for their 2012 shows, after Ward couldn’t agree to a contract. The remaining members of the rock band, Butler, Osbourne and Iommi are now preparing for this summer’s Download Festival and Lollapalooza in America, as well as other shows throughout 2012.
