Black Sabbath Birmingham tickets on sale now

Tickets for Black Sabbath’s intimate show on May 19 at the 02 Academy in Birmingham have gone on sale today, as the band perform ahead of this summers Download festival in June.

It will be the band’s first gig since they reunited with the original members last year. The show in Birmingham will see original frontman Ozzy Osbourne perform alongside bandmates and special guests, such as former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, Geezer Butler and Zakk Wylde.

The gig will see the band perform exclusives which they have been spending the last nine months creating. Band member Tony Lommi will also been playing at Download and next month’s show, despite the guitarist having treatment for lymphoma.

However there is no final say on whether drummer Bill Ward will be joining the band for the shows. The band will be headlining Download festival, alongside The Prodigy and Metallica, in June.
