The UK's Eurovision representative, Engelbert Humperdink, has revealed his secret weapon in this year's international music contest - he'll be channelling the spirt of Elvis Presley.
The 76-year-old singer has revealed he will be wearing a pendant given to him by the rock and roll legend during his performance at the Azerbaijan show and hopes it will bring a little magic to his competition appearance.
"I want to channel his power and help me in this competition," Engelbert tells The Sun newspaper. "Nobody is perfect and we all need help, even from someone above. Elvis only gave them to certain people he cared for. I am glad I was one of them."
The pendant is shaped like a thunderbolt and is engraved with the initials 'TCB' - which stand for 'Taking Care of Business', Elvis Presley's favourite saying. The necklace is estimated to be worth over £2million.
Bookies suggest that Engelbert will need all the help he can get. The veteran singer is an outsider in the competition, with odds of just 12/1 of securing victory with his song, 'Love Will Set You Free'.
