Kelly Jones says they sound like nothing they've done before
Stereophonics have revealed that they plan to release two new albums over the next 18 month months.
The Welsh rockers managed to record so much material while they werein the studio recently that they’re going to release a new record in 2013 and another shortly after in 2014.
Speaking to the Daily Star about the follow up to 2009’s ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’, frontman Kelly Jones said: “Last year was the first time in 14 years that we didn't tour, and it's meant the new records don't sound like anything we've done before.
“We've had time to just go into our own studio and mess about, and it's resulted in a bigger sounding style, very grand and filmic.”
Kelly Jones most recently released a cover of 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You', an emotional tribute to the late Wales football manager Gary Speed.
