  • Nicki Minaj: The 'Starships' rapper made no friends backstage at this year's T In The Park festival, angering fans for her lateness on stage. However, this pales to offence caused to fellow performers, with Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls commenting on Twitter about her aggressive security staff and all-round rudeness to backstage crew.

  • Britney Spears: What chance to us mere mortals have when even fellow pop stars struggle to find favour with the megastars? The Wanted claimed they were forced to face the wall when Britney passed them in a corridor, adding that they were breaking a confidentiality clause by speaking of the incident. Britney Spears representatives later denied all claims.

  • Christina Aguilera: Christina Aguilera showed visible displeasure after meeting Justin Bieber on a live edition of The Voice in the US. After the Canadian star greeted the star with a kiss on TV, Aguilera screwed her face up in disgust. Hopefully she wouldn't respond to fans in the same way...

  • Kanye West: One of music's most well known and public displays of rudeness, West leapt onstage during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech during the 2009 MTV Awards, and told the assembled audience - and millions of home viewers, that she did not deserve the award. He had previously responded in the same way in 2006 after losing out to Justice at the MTV Europe Music Awards for the Best Video award.

  • Tommy Lee: In a direct attack on his fans, Tommy Lee posted a Facebook rant on his own profile, angry at having to pose for photos. "Taking pictures! I hate it! Irritates the f*ck out of me when people say...you owe it to your fans, they put you where you are, etc etc! I certainly dont owe anybody anything!" Avoid at all costs.

  • Justin Bieber: Having previously revealed his flight plans on Twitter to fans, it seems Bieber is only happy to be mobbed when the mood suits him. While at Toronto airport earlier in 2012 waiting for girlfriend Selena Gomez to arrive, he hit out at his waiting fans. "Don't I have any rights as a human being to wait for my own girlfriend? Why do you have to be so impatient?" He asked his eager fans. "I’m still a human being, I have a right to wait for my own girlfriend. You say you’re really my fans, but then why are you doing this?"

  • Madonna: Think very carefully about the flowers you give to Madonna - should the opportunity ever present itself. During a press conference the Venice Film Festival, a fan presented Madonna with a single hydrangea. Unaware her microphone was switched on, Madonna turned to her companion and said "I absolutely loathe hydrangeas" before adding, "He obviously doesn't know that." Showing her sense of humour, she later parodied the incident in a YouTube video.

  • Fred Durst: Don''t touch thew cap! The Limp Bizkit frontman turned on a fan in Russia in June this year after inviting fans to join him on stage at a show in Moscow. When one youngster attempted to swap his cap with Durst''s, the rock-rapper turned the air blue. "Do not f**king touch me" yelled Durst after the minor incident, "I will have you the f**k out. I don''t touch you, you don''t f**king touch me."

  • Dappy: The former N-Dubz star took serious offence to being called a ''loser'' by a young music fan - and told the girl: "Your gonna die" in an aggressive text message. Moody had sent her opinions to Radio One as Dappy guested on the show - only to receive an extreme response from the angry pop-rapper.

Already earning herself a reputation for owning one of the biggest mouths in music, Azealia Banks has turned her attention to hipsters, saying she really 'hates' them.

The singer recently rocked East London's Hackney weekend, a part of the capital packed full of so-called 'hipsters', but has slammed quirky fashion lovers everywhere, saying they are always trying to 'bring you down'.

"I really hate hipsters. That’s one type of person I can’t stand," she Tweeted. "Hipsters are those socially inept cornballs who at any given moment have to bring you down about dumb shit like musical knowledge n clothes.

"You can be cool and not be a hipster. The word hipster is whack too. Cool ppl r just cool.. Hipsters always have to force it."

Azealia Banks recently released her eagerly awaited mixtape, 'Fantasea'.
