More about: Little Mix
Little Mix have gone back into the studio to start work on their second album, the follow-up to 2012's DNA.
The X Factor winners found success with their debut album, which made it to No 3 on the UK albums chart, and are already starting work on their second studio album.
Writing on the band's official Twitter account, band member Jesy Nelson posted, "Agghhh back in the studio today with our tms boys soo excited to create some new music for the 2nd album :D"
Perrie Ewards added, "Get me to the studio already!!! I'm so excited for these shenanigans! Here we go album 2!"
Jesy's tweet referred to TMS, a production team consisting of Tom Barnes, Peter Kelleher and Ben Kohn, who have previously worked with Professor Green and Emeli Sande, among others. They are also responsible for Little Mix's previous singles 'Wings' and 'DNA'.
Missy Elliot is a guest on new Little Mix single 'How Ya Doin'?'
The girls' new single, 'How Ya Doin?', features Missy Elliot - but they unfortunately didn't get to meet her, although they're still hoping that they'll be able to.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Leigh-Anne Pinnock said, "It's a shame we haven't got to meet her yet. Missy was in Los Angeles so we had to do a virtual hook-up. But just to be able to do a track with her was amazing!"
