US rapper Eve has praised R&B singer Frank Ocean for coming out in 2012, and claims that more closested hip-hop stars should do the same.
The 'Who's That Girl?' star is back with new album Lip Lock, and says Ocean was 'ridiculously brave' to admit to being bisexual in an industry rife with homophobia.
"Frank Ocean was ridiculously brave, to do what he did, to be true to himself that way. In hip-hop, there are a lot more people that probably should come out," she says in an interview with Gigwise.
"I was pleasantly surprised by the reaction of people, because it was mostly positive," she adds. "I was shocked and happy about how people were and it made me think maybe things were changing and people are more accepting of things."
