Kanye West, Kings of Leon, Lorde and more all kicked off the brand new series of Later With Jools Holland last night (Tuesday 17 September). See performances from the artists below.
In a rare live appearance, Kanye West performed Yeezus track 'Bound 2' with Charlie Wilson. Kings of Leon showcased tracks from their upcoming Mechanical Bull, playing 'Supersoaker' and 'Don't Matter'. Meanwhile, rising New Zealand star Lorde performed a stripped back rendition of her US smash hit 'Royals'.
The long-running music series, now nearing its 300th episode, also featured performances from Newcastle legend Sting and Northern noise-rockers Drenge. An extended hour-long episode will be televised on BBC 2 on Friday night, featuring more performances from each of the acts.
Queens of the Stone Age, Disclosure, John Grant, Primal Scream, Haim, The Strypes, Johnny Marr, Melt Yourself Down, Miguel, OMD and Yeah Yeah Yeahs are all confirmed for future episodes of the show.
