Blood Orange and Friends frontwoman Samantha Urbani have recorded their take on Babyface and Toni Braxton's 'Hurt You'. Check it out below.

Blood Orange, AKA Dev Hynes, and Urbani, of New York outfit Friends, put their own modern, unique spin on the piano led ballad, stripping it down to a sparse drum beat and distorted vocals, which give the track a melancholy, haunting feel.

Check out the cover of 'Hurt You' below:

The original version of 'Hurt You' is taken from an upcoming duets album from Babyface and Braxton, both 90s R&B icons.

Dev Hynes recently announced he is to release a second album under his Blood Orange moniker. It's called Cupid Deluxe and is due to be released November 18th, and is said to feature guest appearances from Clams Casino, Chairlift, Dirty Projectors, and the aforementioned Urbani.
