John Lewis annual Christmas TV advert featuring Lily Allen covering Keane's 'Somewhere Only We Know' has been revealed. Watch it below.
The animated clip is based on a short story about the 'spirit of Christmas'. It's called 'The Bear And The Hare' and tells a charming and festive tale of the two critters enjoying a Yuletide in the snow. Apparently animals have an awareness of Christmas, and thoroughly encourage you to spend your money in a slightly high end department store.
Of course they would. After all, Music Week reports that the campaign has cost John Lewis a massive £7million.
The ad will receive its televised premiere during the commercial break on Sunday's X Factor results show on ITV. Merry Christmas.

Previous years have famously seen contemporary female artists tackle stripped down renditions of classics, with Ellie Goulding covering Elton John's 'Your Song', Amelia Warner creating a rendition of 'Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want' by The Smiths and Gabrielle Aplin recording an acoustic version of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's 'Power Of Love'.
For weeks Lily Allen, married name Lily Cooper, has been rumoured for the John Lewis campaign. The release marks her return to the pop world following her hiatus and motherhood, with a new album scheduled to drop in 2014. The outspoken star has promised that her third solo studio album won't be about her role as a young mum. She previously confirmed plans to release new music in March next year, and has now revealed she hopes to return to her hell-raising ways on an empowering, 'feminist' record.
