Thom Yorke has continued his streak of mysterious solo releases with a new eight minute track, 'Villain'. Check it out below.

The epic song spans a range of atmospheres and unexpected changes of scenery, starting as a clandestine and minimalist piano led piece that eventually unfurls into a deep, schizophrenic slice of IDM with additional vocals provided by the Brooklyn Youth Chorus.

The track premiered as a part of the New York Fashion Week runway show for Rag & Bone. This isn't the first time Yorke has partnered up with the clothing brand since he and Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich previously created mixes for the company in 2011 and 2013.

Thom Yorke recently dropped three new tracks in Japan in support of his most recent solo effort, Tomorrow's Modern Boxes. 'Villain' was not among any of these tracks so it's totally unknown how much solo material Thom Yorke has saved up in the archives.

More importantly though, there seems to be serious progress happening with Radiohead's untitled ninth album. "We're just launching ourselves into it", says drummer Philip Selway of the new record. All we can do now is sit and wait.
