Lady Gaga has scored her third UK album No.1, after her hugely-hyped ARTPOP album hit the top spot this weekend.
The new chart topper follows previous releases Fame and Born This Way to the UK top spot, ahead of other new releases from the likes of Celine Dion, Little Mix and The Killers. Gaga topples Eminem from the top spot, as the controversial rapper slips to No.2 on the UK album charts. Celine Dion enters at No.3 with her new release, Loved Me Back To Life, buoyed by a recent performance on the X Factor.
2011 talent show champions Little Mix debut at No.4 with their second release, Salute, while The Killers greatest hits collection, Direct Hits (which they recently revealed they never wanted to release), enters at No.6. Cliff Richard makes his annual chart return, this time with The Fabulous Rock 'n' Roll Songbook, while housewives' favourite Alfie Boe enters at No.8 with Trust. Keane's Best Of is new at No.10.
Elsewhere, The Beatles On Air - Live At The BBC - Vol 2 enters at No.12 while their are also Top 20 entries from seasonal chancers Daniel O'Donnell and Russell Watson.
Meanwhile on the singles charts, Martin Garrix debuts at the top spot with his single 'Animals', while Lily Allen's cover of Keane's 'Somewhere Only We Know' for the Christmas John Lewis advert is at No.2.
Other new entries come from Lady Gaga and R.Kelly (No.9), Robbie Williams (No.10), The Poppy Girls (No.13), The Killers (No.23) and Justin Bieber (No.34).
