You Me At Six lead the nominations for this year's Kerrang Awards, up for gongs in five categories including Best British Band, Best Album and Best Single. 

The pop-punk quintet, who released their fourth album Cavalier Youth in January, are also nominated for Best Live Band and, er, Hottest Male (directed at guitarist Matt Helyer).

Bring Me The Horizon, Iron Maiden, Biffy Clyro and Asking Alexandria are up against You Me At Six for Best British Band. Meanwhile, Fall Out Boy, Metallica, Green Day, Black Veil Brides and Avenged Sevenfold battle it out for Best International Band.

Other acts nominated include 5 Seconds of Summer, Architects, Of Mice & Men, and 30 Seconds to Mars.

The Kerrang Awards will take place on June 12, and will be hosted by Andrew WK and Anthrax's Scott Ian.
