In what may be The Song Title Of 2014, producer has confirmed he has recorded a new track with Madonna, titled brilliantly, 'Bitch, I'm Madonna'.
The Major Lazer star, who seems to find time to record music in between sharing all those photos of women's bottoms on his Instagram account, was previously rumoured to have teamed up with the pop icon. Diplo has now discussed the fruits of their labours in an interview with Heloisa Tolipan, confirming they have recorded several tracks together.
"I met Madonna because of her kids and then she invited me to a party," he told the publication. "We ended up writing seven songs together. I do not usually feel pressured to write hits, but when it's an artist of this caliber, it's obvious that I want to push the boundaries a little bit further and surpass myself.
"One of the songs we wrote is very cool and is called 'Bitch, I'm Madonna'."
Madonna is also reported to have teamed up with Disclosure on her upcoming album, the follow-up to her disappointing 2012 album, MDNA. Lets hope she has something up her sleeve a little more impressive than 'Girl Gone Wild' this time around.
Popjustice have suggested that 'Bitch, I'm Madonna' could instead by the debut single from daughter Lourdes. Which is also an interesting idea.
