Damon Albarn has confirmed that new Gorillaz and The Good, The Bad And The Queen albums are in the works, there is no news on Blur however.
In an interview with Australian newspaper The Sydney Morning Herald, Albarn revealed which projects he is currently working on. He mentioned working on another musical, following on from his work on Doctor Dee and Getting Gorillaz back together for a 2016 release - the first since 2011's The Fall.
Albarn also mentioned that new material for The Good, The Bad And The Queen had been written, it was simply a matter of finding time to record it.

News on the Blur front however remains quiet, with Damon expressing a relunctance to commit, due to the nature of the press and high expectations.
"I would imagine there's some kind of future, but at the moment there's no time for the future – only the present," Albarn told the newspaper, "Who knows? I'm reluctant to say anything [about Blur], because if I do, it just gets taken out of context and then I'm accused of being a wind-up."
