David Bowie is set to compete with Jungle, Royal Blood and other newcomers to the music scene for the title of British Artist Of The Year at the first ever BBC Music Awards.
The awards take place this Thursday (11 December) before a 13,500-strong crowd, and are hosted by Fearne Cotton and Chris Evans.
Tickets are on sale now. Buy tickets safely and securely with Seatwave.
The biggest awards categories for the event, which takes place at London's Earls Court, are the aforementioned British Artist Of The Year - for which Jungle, Royal Blood, Ed Sheeran, Elbow and Sam Smith are also nominated - and International Artist Of The Year.
The nominees for International Artist Of The Year are Dolly Parton, Lorde, Gregory Porter, Prince, Taylor Swift and Pharrell.
There'll also be a host of live performances from the likes of Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Take That, George Ezra and *cue screams* One Direction.
Meanwhile, David Bowie, who is the veteran of the British Artist category, is set to release a limited edition 7" picture disc to mark the 40th anniversary of Young Americans, which was originally released in Spring of 1975.
The AA-side of the disc features an alternate version of an outtake from the 1974 Signma Sound sessions in Philadelphia, which marks its first appearance on vinyl.
Bowie also released a compilation album, Nothing Has Changed, earlier this year - which included the new song 'Sue (Or In A Season Of Crime)'.
