More about:

Erol Alkan has uploaded his full DJ set from his recent support slot for Manic Street Preachers on the Holy Bible tour. Listen below.

Warming up for the Welsh rockers, Alkan played a genre-defying set that spanned the decades, from vintage New Order through to the likes of Echo and the Bunnymen, Wire, Magazine, Kraftwerk and a wealth of other unknown hits.

The set also undeniably plays to the Manics' well documented influence in Berlin-era Bowie and the Krautrock greats, maintaining an ominous yet calculated feel throughout.

Listen to the mix in full below:

The Manics' recent Holy Bible dates were critically acclaimed across the board, with fans revelling in the fact they could hear the seminal album live in full for the first time.
