More about: Iceland AirwavesBjork
The acclaimed and much-loved Iceland Airwaves festivals returns for 2015, and have now added the likes of Bjork, John Grant and Father John Misty to the line-up.
Held across numerous venues in Reykjavik throughout November, the celebration of the best of new international and Icelandic talent already featured the likes of Ariel Pink, Perfume Genius, East India Youth and loads of local acts.
Now, Bjork has revealed a very special homecoming performance as part of the proceedings. "Home again, home again, diggety-do," said Bjork in a very Bjork fashion on her Facebook page to celebrate.
Bjork will be performing at Eldborg, Harpa on 7 November at 3pm with a performance that is included as part of the Iceland Airwaves ticket price. Tickets will be handed out to festival-goers on a first-come-first-served basis Friday 6 November at 12pm at the Harpa media centre. However, there will also be an additional performance on Tuesday 3 November with tickets on sale from 12pm on Friday 27 March.
