Lana Del Rey has previewed new track 'Life Is Beautiful' for the soundtrack for new film, The Age of Adaline. Watch the trailer below.
Starring Blake Lively and Harrison Ford, the film focuses on a young woman who stops ageing following a car accident on her 30th birthday. Seemingly pitched as "Benjamin Button goes Gossip Girl", critics have already praised Lively's "melancholy spaciness", which would suggest that Del Rey is the perfect choice for the soundtrack.
The song itself would suggest that Del Rey's new album Honeymoon is going to be a stunning affair: 'Life Is Beautiful' has got Del Rey's trademark sense of delicate mournfulness, with her lyrics of hope and escapism laced on top.
