16 May: The Vaccines bought their instant pop songs to their surprise slot at Brighton's Great Escape Festival last weekend. Check out our photos here.

Taking to the stage at midnight at The Old Haunt, the four-piece opened with 'Teenage Icon', and went on the play an array of songs from their back-catalogue including 'If You Wanna' and 'Wreckin' Bar'. New songs such as 'Dream Lover' were also performed and proved they could stand up alongside the classics
