Lauryn Hill @ London Hammersmith Apollo, July 8, 2007 – The once great Fugees singer proved that she had lost her talent and integrity during her 2007 UK tour. She turned up two hours late, mumbled through her tunes, read awful poetry and was roundly booed by the vexed crowd. One told Gigwise: “No warmth, no soul.... with her crazy hair and raincoat she reminded me of a bag lady you’d avoid if you saw her in the street, or at best, Whitney Houston in her crack days.”

- i went last night to this concert,and thought she did quite well,she struggled getting a few notes on a few songs but her voice has changed so she has altered the way she performs some of her songs.i did not leave unhappy,i thought she gave her best.give her a break,i would say,that 12 percent of the audience left 5 minutes from the end.i did not hear any booing.and would go see her again

- I was so sad for her , the last time i saw her in concert was in 1999.
It so strange to see her changed this much, in this concert.
The timbre is gone, she coughs and she seems tired.
Drugs most have destroyed her vocal chords, hope it can be repaired to some degree.
Whitney don't continue the tour but see a doctor to get your voice 'fixed'!

I was at the concert, in the first tier. I am glad that I got the chance to see a mega superstar like Whitney, but I am sad to see where she has fallen to. Clearly she is not fit for singing at present, and should try to maintain her dignity by not doing these concerts for another year, after she's done some serious vocal re-training. I wish I did not go, so that I could just say that the media was being harsh, but in this case they are very accurate.
