Dio was replaced as Black Sabbath’s singer by former Deep Purple vocalist Ian Gillan in 1983, but he returned to the band briefly in 1992 to record ‘Dehumanizer’.
A great rock artist ,as a vocalist myself I was always envious at how he could manage to hit those high notes so easily, he is a big part of my generations rock history that will be sadly missed.
