Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards' has been told to tone down parts of his forthcoming autobiography, it's been claimed.
The book, entitled Life, is due to be released in October, and is expected to lift the lid on the rock star's life.
But the band's management company has apparently expressed concern that certain parts of the book are too revealing, including sections about singer Mick Jagger.
"Keith once said he was finding it difficult to remember things when he first sat down to start writing it,” a source told the Daily Mail.
“But his memory seems pretty good. It's going to be explosive when it comes out.”
Richards began writing his memoirs for publishers Little, Brown and Company three years ago.
His bandmate and fellow guitarist Ronnie Wood released his autobiography in 2007. Jagger has yet to write a book.
