David Bowie has denied reports that he has recorded a song with Lady Gaga.
The singer was reported to have worked with Lady Gaga after a Chicago-based website claimed to have “evidence” of the collaboration.
The song was purportedly set to appear on the singer's next album, which is due early next year.
But the news editor for Bowie's official website has now denied the speculation.
“The suggestion that David Bowie is producing and participating in the production of Lady Gaga's next album is untrue and a hoax,” he said.
Lady Gaga is known to be a huge fan of Bowie. In a recent interview she described her new album as “the absolute greatest work I've ever done”.
