The hours are ticking down to the start of Arcade Fire’s biggest ever UK tour, which gets underway with two gigs at the O2 Arena in London on December 1 and 2.
To celebrate the band’s jaunt, which also includes shows in Birmingham, Cardiff and Manchester, Gigwise has put together a round-up of how they have catapulted themselves from the suburbs of Montreal to the world’s biggest stage.
Our special trip down memory lane includes some of Arcade Fire’s standout live performances, including the 2005 Austin City Limits festival in Texas and this year’s Reading festival.
