Seven more days have passed by, meaning that Gigwise has to round up the best bits of the week into bite sized chunks for you to digest.

As the weekend began at Glastonbury, Radiohead took to the stage as a 'surprise' act and Wayne Rooney hung out with Mumford & Sons. Meanwhile U2's set went without a hitch after attempts at a riot against the band's alleged tax avoidance failed.

Elsewhere Lady Gaga came under fire for apparently keeping charity money for herself, Mark Owen broke down about the revelations of his past affairs and Justin Timberlake revealed that he had bought part of Myspace.

In other music news, the artists involved in the Muppets soundtrack were unveiled and Aaron Carter revealed that Michael Jackson once offered him cocaine and alcohol when the teen-singer was just 15.
