Madonna Performs At Super Bowl Sunday: Pictures

The Super Bowl is one of the biggest sporting events in the world and its half time break performance is one that takes months of planning. This year it was the turn of Madonna to entertain fans not only at the event, but across the globe as millions tuned in to watch.

Enlisting several big names to boost her performance, The Queen of Pop played out an almost floorless performance despite question marks over lip syncing.

An Egyptian theme ruled throughout her 12 minute slot which saw her show off her acrobatic skills, being tossed and turned by backing dancers.

Opening with ‘Vogue’ Madonna was first joined on stage first by LMFAO during ‘I’m Sexy And I Know It’ mixed into her hit ‘Hey Mr DJ’, she then performed new single ‘Give All Your Lovin’ with Nicki Minaj and M.I.A who also feature on the track. Playing the role of cheerleaders and performing their individual rap parts during the song, M.I.A has hit headlines today for flipping her middle fingers to cameras during the performance.

For her last track Madonna was joined on stage by Cee Lo Green who sung out the end of ‘Give Me All Your Lovin’ before dueting on ‘Like A Prayer’.
