Morrissey, Siouxsie and Ian Curtis all receive the cartoon treatment
Brazilian illustrator, Butcher Billy has re-imagined all your favourite icons of the post-punk era in a brand new collection entitled: 'All-New Superpowered Post-Punk Marvels'.
Morrissey, Siouxsie Sioux, Ian Curtis and Robert Smith are all known for their melancholic tracks concerned with love, death and the extremes of human emotion - obviously familiar preoccupations in the complex life of a superhero.
Explaning the reason behind the Marvel-inspired characterisations, Billy told Mashable: "Marvel characters are a bit more fragile because under the spandex and superpowers. They're mostly real people struggling with real life issues. Their troubles are always quite personal, and I find these concepts very relatable".
