Chris Moyles is returning to the airwaves as the daily breakfast host of Radio X, a rebrand of XFM and the bookies are already favouring his success.
Taking to Twitter last night (6 September), Moyles broke the news that he will be making his Radio X debut on September 21. See his tweet below.

The XFM rebrand will see a new cast of presenters including Vernon Kay covering mid-mornings, Johnny Vaughan on weekday drivetime, and Kaiser Chiefs' Ricky Wilson on air at the weekends.
Ashley Tabor of Radio X's parent company Global said in a press release: "Radio X will focus on fresh rock and guitar-based music alongside huge personalities. And personalities don't get any bigger than Chris Moyles."
Chris Moyles' breakfast show will air on weekdays from 6.30am to 10am.
In more competitive news, bookmakers Betway have already placed odds on the liklihood of Moyles' success over rival breakfast host, Nick Grimshaw of BBC Radio 1.
Right now the odds stand of Moyles having a higher listenership than Grimshaw'sat 14/1 with a 33/1 shot of Radio X being the most listened to breakfast show in the UK.
Betway’s Alan Alger, said: "His legion of fans will be delighted that Chris Moyles is back on the air. Whether his return is enough to persuade BBC listeners to change over to Radio X remains to be seen."
