Young band Farebrother from Bath greeted the public at Finsbury with atmospheric guitar tunes, followed by uprising Londoners SisteRay. Four-piece warmed up the Tuesday crowd with their energetic, raucous punk sound, referencing the likes of The Libertines and Palma Violets.

The night’s headliners were groovy psych rock band Tempesst, fronted and backed by Aussie twins Toma (vocals, lead guitar) and Andy Banjanin (drums, backing vocals). Gracing the audience with new material, headliners swung their way to more familiar tunes such as Too Slow and Broke Down Blues, closing the set with catchy hit Tidal Wave – ultimate singalong brightened up the rainy evening.

This gig was one of the 31 shows of #Blogtober festival, which showcases the best fresh music for the whole month.

Growing Tempesst just headlined London’s glittery Moth Club, as well as supported Mystery Jets on a bunch of European dates. If you're fast enough, you could catch them on Sunday at Hackney Wonderland, or watch them supporting The Veils at KOKO London on the 25th of October.
