Miley Cyrus has performed the first song from her as yet titled new album, set for release later this year. Check out a fan shot video down below.
Miley Cyrus was performing at the Adult Swim Party in New York on Wednesday night, and performed a new song from her collaboration album with The Flaming Lips, entitled 'Tiger Dreams'. This is the first new material she has aired from the upcoming album.
She also decided to light up a massive joint and passed it into the crowd (although various reports suggest that the roll up didn't smell like the real drug(. Cyrus also admitted live on stage that she had forgotten to put on her underwear for the show stating "I got no panties on. On my Mom's birthday of all days, I f***ing forgot to wear underwear."

Miley Cyrus' new album is set to be released this year and is a collaborative album with The Flaming Lips. Speaking to Billboard, Coyne reveals the band are working on an album of seven songs written and recorded over the last year. No release date on title has been determined but the pair have been recording in both the Lips' studio in Oklahoma and Cyrus' home in Los Angeles.
"Her studio is just a little room with a desk," says Coyne, "and Miley was sitting there mixing. I was like, 'I can't picture Beyoncé doing this!' It's not a putdown of Beyoncé. I just don't see her recording her own vocals and then EQ'ing it. It's so punk rock!"
Coyne also praised Cyrus ability to combine darker emotions into her work. '"She does the pop thing so great, so it still feels pop, but a slightly wiser, sadder, more true version," Coyne explained. "Some of it reminds me of Pink Floyd and Portishead."
The Flaming Lips are set to headline this year's Liverpool Sound City. Taking place across multiple stages at Liverpool's Bramley Moore Dock from 22-24 May, other acts on the bill include The Vaccines, Belle & Sebastian, Everything Everything, Spector, Thurston Moore Band, Gaz Coombes, The Cribs, Dum Dum Girls, Peace Swans, Fat White Family and many, many more.
