Jamiroquai's era-defining video for 'Virtual Reality' has been transformed into a video game. Watch footage below.

Buncho Games have taken it upon themselves to create a video game version of Jamiroquai's hit 'Virtual Insanity' and have uploaded it to Gamejolt for a free download.

The game is fairly simplistic. The player controls Jay Kay (or 'Man In Funky Hat' as the avatar has to legally be known) in the video, and have to dodge sofas which come through the walls. Failure to dodge them results in game over. In a proper Nineties throwback, in keeping with Jamiroquai's video, the game can only be downloaded and used on a Windows system.

Directed by Jonathan Glazer, the original video was released in 1996 and has become Jamiroquai's most famous music video. Originally it was conceived to be build on hydraulics at a cost of £280,000 but Glazer eventually build on the low tech solution on wheels "like a huge rollerskate". The video won four awards at the MTV Video Music Awards 1997. The awards they won included 'Best Video Of The Year' and 'Breakthrough Video'.
