Elbow release the video for the title track off their Lost Worker Bee EP, out today (July 24). Check it out below.
Based on a script written by writer and artist Moose Allien, the video follows a seemingly lost suited gentleman as he wanders around the countryside running into and dancing with a cast of characters.
Highlights include waltzing with an old man in front of a haystack, having a showdown with a teenage dance troupe and a goalkeeper roboting atrociously. The incredible scenic wide shots fit the panoramic reverberation of Garvey's voice that emanates a welcoming warmth.
The Lost Worker Bee EP is comprises of four new tracks and marks the return of Elbow to EPs as was the format of their early release: 'Noisebox', 'Newborn' and 'Any Day Now'.
Speaking about the four track project, Guy Garvey said: "Elbow are involved in various solo projects and collaborative endeavours for the next few months and we just felt we really wanted to get ‘something’ away to tide fans over until the next album. We’ve always loved the EP as a format and we’ve enjoyed making this one so much I wouldn’t be surprised if there was another before long."
