More about: Kanye West
After his disastrous debut there six years ago, Kanye West has made a more successful return to Bonnaroo festival, and took the opportunity to criticise the press, and remove any reference to Jay Z from his lyrics.
During his 21-song set at the Tennessee festival, West said to the crowd: "How many of y'all don't give a fuck about what the press say?"
He added: "Look at how they try to make me look. They try to make me look crazy. And the people that write that, I don't see them performing for 90,000 motherfuckers. They can't even perform for their child."

The rapper also left out Jay Z's name from any song in which he is usually mentioned, something he also did at his recent performance at Austin's X Music festival.
In his performance of 'Cold', for example, the lyrics usually go, "Lucky I ain't had Jay drop him from the team," but instead, West left a notable silence where Jay Z's name should have gone.
West continued by explaining to the crowd: "I know y'all seen movies and shit, but y'all living a movie right motherfucking now, because I am the No.1 motherfucking rockstar on the planet."
"Last time I got here," he admitted, referring to his 2008 appearance for which he was six hours late, "before I even arrived, they had 'Fuck Kanye' on the motherfucking Porta Potties, but this year we gonna piss on them, on the motherfucking Porta Potties."
Rick Rubin recently confirmed that he is currently working with West on his new album, the follow-up to 2013's Yeezus.
